The purpose of EuroAfrica Linie Żeglugowe Sp. z o.o. Company's operation is:
- Providing maritime transport services with maintaining security of passengers, crew, ships and cargo,
- Conducting services with constant reduction of a negative impact of the operation of the company on the environment,
- Maintaining high economic efficiency of the company with maintaining the evaluation of a high quality carrier.
In order to achieve the above mentioned goals the Board of EuroAfrica Linie Żeglugowe company declares the intention to:
- Meet all the requirements of the provisions of law related to maritime transport services,
- Include in its operation the guidelines and standards recommended by IMO, maritime administration agencies, classification societies and navigation related organizations,
- Implement security rules during exploitation of the managed ships,
- Ensure working conditions complaint with Safety Regulations,
- Implement environmental protection protection tools,
- Achieving readiness to operate in conditions of threats,
- Constant improvement of land and maritime employees' qualities,
- Increase the awareness of employees with regard to the impact of their operation on the quality and security of provided services as well as on the influence of their operation on the environment,
- Constant improvement of the quality and security management.
The Company considers as a significant aspect of its policy the ban to use drugs and alcohol by the employees while being onboard.
The Board of EuroAfrica Linie Żeglugowe Company declares designation of necessary means to implement the policy of quality, security and environmental protection in the best possible way.
All the employees of EuroAfrica Linie Żeglugowe Company, with respect to assigned duties and qualifications, are obliged to operate according to goals and assumptions of the above presented policy.
Being aware of the influence of the operation of EuroAfrica Linie Żeglugowe Sp. z o.o. Company on the environment the Board of the Company commits itself to implement the environmental policy and to implement and improve the assumptions of that policy.
Environment management policy refers to all the aspects of navigation operation run by the Company and provided maritime transport services.
The Bard of EuroAfrica Linie Żeglugowe Company declares:
- To prevent contamination resulting from the operation of the Company ,
- To implement, maintain and improve the system of environment management with respect to all environmental goals concerning all the defined significant aspects of the environment,
- To conduct a review of the system of management including the review of goals and environmental tasks,
- To ensure compliance with all the binding provisions of law as well as relevant codes, standards, and guidelines,
- To increase the awareness of employees' of the Company within the field of environmental protection,
- To ensure constant improvement of qualifications of the Company's employees as well as the crew employed on the ships managed by the Company including the preparation to act in case of threats to environment,
- To define and allocate necessary means to ensure effective operation of the environment management system.
All the employees of EuroAfrica Linie Żeglugowe Company are obliged to get acquainted with the assumptions of this policy, its goals and tasks stemming from it. |
